Apex Cheerleading Team Qualifies for Prestigious European Tournament

In just a few short years, Apex Cheerleading Club has become a staple in the Northwich community, promoting fun, fitness, and camaraderie amongst its members. Now, the club is taking its mission to the next level by qualifying for the prestigious Cheer 4 All European Cup tournament in Italy.

Founded in May 2017, Apex has quickly grown to include a diverse range of girls and boys, ranging in age from 3 to 19 years old. The club’s focus on inclusivity and teamwork has made it a popular choice for young people looking to stay active and make new friends.

Cheerleading is a demanding sport that requires a high level of physical fitness, flexibility, and coordination. Members of Apex have worked tirelessly to hone their skills, and the club’s recent success at the UKCA National Cheer & Dance Championship 2023 earned them a coveted spot in the European Cup tournament.

This marks the first time in Apex’s history that they have qualified for such a prestigious competition, and the team is eager to make a strong showing. However, participating in the tournament comes at a significant cost, and the club is currently raising funds to help cover expenses.

The goal is to raise a total of £20,000 to cover travel, lodging, and competition expenses for the 35 members of the team. One generous parent has already pledged half of this amount, and the club has raised an additional £2,065 through a GoFundMe campaign.

As of this writing, Apex is still working to raise the remaining £7,935 needed to cover the costs of the trip. Every little bit helps, and anyone interested in supporting the team can donate through the GoFundMe page.

Participating in the Cheer 4 All European Cup is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the members of Apex, and the club is grateful for any support that can help make this dream a reality.
