Northwich at Christmas is really special; not only do we have the lovely festive walks in and around town. We also have fantastic pubs, restaurants and bars for you to enjoy.

Whether you want a pint after a long walk, a festive meal or an evening of cocktails and dancing, Northwich has lots of options.

Here are just some of the Christmas treats we have in store for you.

If you love a classic British pub, we have 5 for you to visit.

The Green Dragon at the top of Witton Street.
They’d love for you to join them for, Disco Dave and Karaoke on 23rd December or Motown 80’s on 24th December. They’re even open on Christmas day, they are open 11-3pm and on Boxing Day they live music from Henry Myles.

The Quayside.
The Quayside offers you a chance to enjoy a festive 3-course dinner from now until Christmas. On Christmas Eve they’ve got DJ Kev Frazer & The Night Train is back from 2pm. 

We also have The Witton Chimes pub and Penny Black Wetherspoons serving you great food and the best pints. 

The Swinging Witch has Christmas Karaoke with DJ David T on 22nd December and is showing the Man City vs Liverpool game.

Culinary Concept in Baron’s Quay always go all out with their themes, they’re worth popping in to see just what they’ve done for Christmas. We won’t spoil it for you! 

Wildwood have a brand new menu for you to try! Including a Buttermilk Turkey Burger. It’s a great family restaurant and perfect for post-Christmas shopping.

Bear has a delicious Bottomless Cheese Fondue which is £15pp. Who doesn’t love fondue in this weather? You can find out more and how to book here. Then on Fridays and Saturdays, they are also offering 2x Winter Grazing Boards & a Bottle of Wine for £30.
Bear will be open for drinks & dining, with their usual evening Social Menu on New Year’s Eve until 9pm; the kitchen will close at 8pm so make sure you book. 

Temple Cafe Bar have their wonderful Christmas menu. That’s 3 courses for £26.95 or 2 for £22. You’ve got the likes of traditional Christmas pudding and chocolate & orange jaffa cake on the menu for dessert; you don’t want to miss this.

 You know what, you might decide you don’t fancy going out, and that’s ok.

Goblin Coffee are offering a range of 6 different limited-edition Christmas beers.

They also have 3 different Christmas box sets, including their hand-curated Goblin Xmas Boxset, which is £5 off RRP.  They also offers free refills on any hot drink with an online review (Facebook or Google), and on Mondays you get ‘buy one get one free’ on all hot drinks. Live music events are fundamental at Goblin Coffee, all year round so keep an eye on their Facebook for the next event. 

Board Beans Cafe have a phenomenal collection of games, children’s games, family games, party games, and even strategy games. It’s best enjoyed when you put your phone away for the evening and get stuck in! You have access to over 700 games, ranging from ones you remember from childhood to the latest released ones that your children will remember in years to come.

Barons Lounge is a nice cosy place, serving cask ales, craft beers, gins and more. Great for a festive date night!

The Bird & Hat is a little hidden away, providing us with rum and fantastic cocktails. They also have live music so keep an eye on their Facebook for when that takes place and plan accordingly.

The Salthouse and Bullring are family-run bars, specialising in craft beer, gin and fine wines. 

The Salty Dog is throwing a Madagascan-themed New Year’s Eve party. Fancy dress is compulsory, so why not head on down to enjoy a party fit for King Julien. 

Now, if you want to dance the night away, you should definitely go to Re​​vival Bar & Club. None stop music from 9pm – 3pm!
