Applications are now open for the 2019 Salters’ Den competition. If you are an entrepreneur or business start-up located in the Northwich or Winsford area and started trading on or after 1st January 2018 you are eligible to enter.

Have you got a great idea and business plan but need investment and advice to make it a reality? By entering the Salters’ Den competition you could gain the vital funds and specialist advice to make a real difference to the future of your business.
The amazing prize for the winner is £2,500 cash as well as one year’s free accountancy support and business advice from Howard Worth and legal mentoring from mosshaselhurst Solicitors.

Salters’ Den is organised by local businesses Howard Worth Chartered Accountants, mosshaselhurst Solicitors, NatWest and Cheshire West and Chester Council. This year’s judging panel includes two new faces, Robert Gore, Solicitor and Director at mosshaselhurst and Councillor Richard Beacham from Cheshire West and Chester Council.
With the competition now entering its fourth year, judging panel member and partner at Howard Worth, Chris Smith, continues to be encouraged by the quantity of applications received and the quality of the new businesses that start in Mid Cheshire each year.
“When we first launched the Salters’ Den competition we didn’t know what to expect from the applicants. What we have assessed have been some fantastic and unique new businesses from passionate and driven entrepreneurs.
“It’s not just the previous winners of the competition that have been able to develop their businesses but many of those shortlisted really benefited from their experience and have made their business dreams a reality.”
