One of our local hairdressers, Crate Cheshire, has recently been named as Best Male Grooming Salon of the Year at the British Hairdressing Business Awards 2021. The BHBA recognises the hard work of salon businesses and holds an annual celebration of brilliance in hairdressing.
We spoke to Charles Rose, Director of Crate Cheshire to find out how he feels about winning this amazing award.
“We are absolutely over the moon to have been named the winners of such a prestigious award, especially as a relatively new business. The BHBA was held on Monday 4th October at the Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge, London and is now in its 23rd year. To win alongside such inspirational salons and individuals in the business is a huge honour!”
Charles and the team recently moved into their new salon in Barons Quay – Unit 11b and are awaiting some finishes to be completed by the council but are happy they are finally in their new home.
To win such a prestigious award is great news for Crate, especially considering they are a relatively new business, beginning their journey in 2018 here in Northwich. We’re so proud to have them here in our town centre and are certain they are going to go from strength to strength in the coming years.
A word from BID Manager, Adam:
“Since taking on my role as BID Manager in 2020 I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know the passionate local business owners here in Northwich and Charles is no exception! Crate has a clear vision and the team work hard to provide a professional service to their Northwich client-base. Not only that, but just like many of our other local businesses they are always keen to get stuck in with the wider community. It’s great to see that they have been recognised for their achievements.”
Great job guys and we’re sure we’ll hear from you again soon!
