A new Northwich business that’s aiming to help people get back on their feet through massage and rehabilitation has opened in the town centre.

Edena Therapy, which shares a space with Hotpod Yoga, offers a range of health and wellbeing services including sports injury treatments, reflexology, deep tissue massage and both pre and post-natal support.

The business is owned by Charlotte Heptinstall, a Women’s Wellness Professional who has over 10 years’ experience in assessing and providing sport injury rehabilitation, and she has revealed more about Edena Therapy and also explained why people should book an appointment.

“Whether you’re looking for some relaxation, help with recovery from birth, pregnancy pain or any sport/muscular injury, I can help you get back on your feet,” said Charlotte.

“It’s a great spot right in the centre of Northwich so why not book in for a massage or rehab session, do your bits in town or go for a drink and support all our other local business at the same time.”

As well as her work at Edena Therapy, Charlotte also teaches at Hotpod Yoga and believes that the two businesses go hand-in-hand.

“I love teaching and practicing yoga and understand the benefits that it brings. I would encourage anyone to join a session, from Hot-flow to Nurture classes, to aid relaxation and mobility.

“What would be better than going for a yoga class then having a full body massage straight afterwards – you would literally feel like you’re floating out.”

As well as being passionate about helping people feel rejuvenated through the services offered at Edena Therapy, Charlotte is also a firm believer in shopping local and has outlined why she thinks it’s so important.

“Independent business owners like myself are so passionate about what we do and we want to give the best service possible to everyone in Northwich – you are not just a figure to us.

“It’s the personal touches you get when you shop local that you don’t really see in bigger stores. The money spent is kept in our community too and purchasing local helps grow other businesses. That’s why it’s so important to shop local and support independents.”

Charlotte then went on to sketch out her plans and objectives for the next few months which she envisages featuring a number of new services.

She commented: “My aim for the next 6-12 months is to continue to offer new services to the people of Northwich as I love to learn new skills.

“My plans include peri/menopause and pregnancy/post-natal workshops, as well as post-natal sling yoga. Working with local businesses on health and wellbeing packages and collaborations with other health professionals in the area is on the agenda too.”
