Northwich is a vibrant, welcoming town that truly offers something for everyone. There’s something special about this place that just makes you fall in love with it.

First off, the town’s warm and friendly vibe is hard to find elsewhere. Wherever you go, you’ll be greeted with a smile and a kind word, whether it’s from your neighbours, the local independent business owners or national retailers. This sense of community is what makes Northwich such a special place to live in.

The high street offers traditional butchers and greengrocers who sit alongside charming clothes shops, gift stores, hair salons and barbers, plus a variety of other retail businesses. With a mix of independent shops and larger chains, you’ll be spoilt for choice.

You can also have a great night out in Northwich, enjoying entertainment for all, from cinematic delights to live music, dancing and great drinks! And, after a night of dancing or games, you can treat yourself to a tasty takeaway!

Northwich also boasts a wealth of charming countryside spots, including Vickersway Park, a hidden gem on the outskirts of Northwich town centre. There, both children and adults can enjoy games like crazy golf, table tennis, bowling, a skate park, and a play area – all whilst grabbing a drink at the cafe (please note only open Monday-Friday 12pm-5pm, Saturday & Sunday 10am-5pm – weather dependent). Or stroll over to Verdin Park, another fantastic open space for everyone to enjoy, complete with a play area for kids. Carey Park on the outskirts of the town leads to various accessible walking routes, including the Witton Mill Meadow and eventually to Marbury Country Park. And, if you simply want a space to relax, why not enjoy a calming riverside walk along the Rivers Weaver and Dane.
