As the weather warms up, Church Walk Paddling Pool As the weather warms up, Church Walk Paddling Pool is the perfect place to spend some time with the family! 💦 Free to book for Northwich residents, it's open 7 days a week until early September (weather permitting), and offers two sessions daily: 10am–1pm & 2pm–5pm. Advance booking is essential — no walk-ins are allowed. As well as the paddling pool, facilities include toilets/changing rooms, an on-site shop, picnic areas and a great playground nearby. Its Independent Bookshop Week and we’re very pro Its Independent Bookshop Week and we’re very proud to have Cover2Cover in Northwich, which first opened its doors in April this year 📖📚 Located at the top end of Witton Street and owned and run by Tim and Annie, the bookshop was a long-time dream that has finally come true and they’re loving every moment of it so far! The shop has an extensive range of second-hand books, from limited editions to children’s books, fiction, biographies, recipes, sci-fi and much much more. Children’s books are priced low to encourage a love of reading from a young age and there’s a lovely little reading corner for them to take a seat and read a few pages if they like. Open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am – 4pm, if you’re a book lover, head to Cover2Cover where Tim and Annie will be delighted to meet you! 📚
