This week’s Live From Northwich features Viva Coffee and Juice Bar, one of Northwich’s many independent eateries.
I popped in to take a look at their recent renovation and enjoyed a quick chat with manager Chad. I was lucky enough to dig into a Daim cake and the Oreo milkshake whilst I was there as well and I couldn’t recommend them more!

The café is based right in the middle of the high street up the road from Boots and opposite Santander. With tables available outside, there’s no better place to sit and enjoy a drink and some food outside on a warm summers day!

what’s the best thing about being based in northwich?
Chad was quick to praise the people of Northwich and how friendly all of their customers are. Viva has its regulars like many of the establishments across town and Chad mentioned how he loves seeing familiar faces frequent the café. We also discussed how great it is to be part of a unique market town like Northwich.
how long has the cafe been running for?
Viva has been open in Northwich for 10 years now and, like Northwich benefits from a strong community spirit, the café also has a great community feel to it with the same people coming in day-in day-out. If you come in there often enough the staff will even prepare your regular for you as soon as you walk through the door!
tell us more about the refurb
The refurb took around 6-8 weeks to complete as both Chad and the café owner were keen to avoid having to close up! Members of staff put in long hours to help with the refurb, staying after hours to ensure things moved as quickly as possible.
The café is now boasting a fresh, modern look whilst still maintaining its spacious and bright feel which we all love!
