Northwich Pina Colada 22: What’s happening!

This Saturday (20th August 2022) Pina Colada Festival returns… and we couldn’t be more excited! We have an incredible day planned for you, with everyone getting involved!

Apple Market Place

Apple Market Place (next to Northwich Market) will be turned into a tropical paradise; you may even find a giant Pina Colada, not so secretly hiding! There will be plenty of seating to enjoy the delights of the Pantasy Steel Band, our Live DJ a set from the awesome Golty and a final act with a 7 piece Reggae band.

Barons Square

Have you wanted to try Salsa dancing but never had the chance? Get down to Barons Quay Square at 12pm/2pm/4pm and have fun participating in our Salsa lessons.

Or, if you just want to sit back and relax, you can sit in a deckchair and listen to music provided by Radio Northwich. And don’t forget to take your Insta photos in the giant deckchair!

There will be free Pineapple Mosaic crafting until 4pm and fabulous dancing parades starting at 1pm/3pm/5pm.

BQ Wildflower Meadow

So many activities to enjoy in the Barons Quay Wildflower Meadow, including free face painting until 3pm and children’s rides & games until 5pm. Get those feet moving with Zumba instructors showing you how to move to the rhythm of the beat!

Upper Witton Street

“You’d catch ‘em surfin’ at Northwich.”

Why not head up past Northwich Library and have a go on the surfing simulator? You will also find plenty of other games along the street, including limbo, and don’t miss out on the FREE popcorn and candy floss.

Refreshing Beverages

SAVE £2 at The Core with their fantastic Pina Colada Energy Tea or Healthy Shake. Just don’t forget to say – ‘I like Pina Coladas’

Alternatively, Weigh of the World will be doing Pina Colada milkshakes with or without a shot of alcohol and providing homemade cake!

Abda’s will be serving Pina Coladas (Abda Style), Pina Colada Cold Brew and Pina Colada Cake all day Friday and Saturday.

Or how about a Pina Colada milkshake from Vinnies? A refreshing yet indulgent treat!

For all you Cocktail Lovers

Pina Colada cocktail will be served in most bars across town, including a few served in actual pineapples from The Salty Dog and Bruchetta. How awesome is that!

Buy a Pina Colada from Bruschetta, and get a FREE slice of ham and pineapple pizza.

From midday, Sunny BBQ will be serving sangaria, chicken BBQ, chorizo on fire and grilled pineapple.

The Grape and Bean, The Salt House NW, Barons Lounge, The Witton Chimes, Temple Bar and The Bullring NW will also be serving up their version of the beachy cocktail, along with some fun and inspiring take on the classic recipe!

BEAR will be mixing up their exclusive frozen passionfruit Pina Colada and delicious Matcha Colada.

Wildwood will have a full range of cocktails and mocktails for you to enjoy. All getting in the tropical spirit, and we can’t wait to see the fancy dress!

We are so excited to see Culinary Concept’s Pina Colada food menu, including French Toast, Coconut and Pineapple Chicken Burger and not forgetting their incredible Doughnuts. 

The Bird & Hat, the finest Rum Bar in Cheshire, will be serving their delicious Pina Coladas and live music from 2pm. 

The Swinging Witch will be none stop all weekend with live music, football, Joshua vs Usyk, along with their take on a Pina Colada and tasty authentic wood-fired street food.

The Quayside will have DJ Kev Frazer playing all day, playing classic Motown hits. Not forgetting live music at Barons Lounge for you to enjoy!

This summer, kids eat FREE with a paying adult at The Quayside and Kanya Bistro and Bar.
