A family law firm in Northwich has been shortlisted for the Lexis Nexis “Family Law Firm of the Year”, a highly contested industry award that celebrates the achievements of UK law practice.
Susan Howarth and Co Solicitors is the only small, local practice in the running as it goes head-to-head with some of the biggest names in law. This is the second year that the family company has been shortlisted for the award, having been nominated on the strength of their casework.
The firm was established in 1997 by Susan Howarth, who had built her career in probation and social services before founding her own practice. The company specialises in all aspects of family law (including divorce, separation, child law, care, adoption and mediation) as well as commercial and residential conveyancing, wills, trusts and probate, and services for the elderly.
With a small team of just twenty one staff, Susan Howarth and Co are delighted to be shortlisted for an award that is usually reserved for larger, city centre firms with multiple regional offices.
Rosie Howarth, marketing and social media manager for the practice, shared her excitement, saying: “We are delighted to be back in the running for this prestigious award. As a small practice we are proud to be recognised for the service we provide and this is really testament to the strength, resilience and capability of our staff who have adapted to trying circumstances and helped us come out stronger than ever in a very challenging year.
“We have had to make inevitable changes to the way we work but our commitment to client care has never wavered and we remain steadfast in our mission to serve our clients with the personal and dedicated service that they deserve.”
The awards will be hosted by Lexis Nexis on November 24th at the Bloomsbury Big Top in London.
