A new veterinary surgery in Northwich is hoping to become the go-to place for people’s pet needs after celebrating six months in the town this September.
Vets4Pets, which opened on the first floor of Pets at Home in March 2018, features a fully equipped theatre, 3 consulting rooms, digital X Ray, ultrasound and the ability to analyse a range of samples such as blood and hair.
The surgery also has separate cat and dog wards for inpatients as well as an isolation ward and Ruth Taylor, Veterinary Surgeon and Partner, has outlined why the people of Northwich should use Vets4Pets.
“We have an experienced and caring team,” said Ruth. “Despite only being open six months we have already achieved nationally recognised advanced standards in both Cat and Rabbit Care, as well as a rare 100% on an Aspiring to Clinical Excellence assessment.”
“I have a certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice, focusing on anaesthesia and pain management, our Head Nurse Jen has a Diploma in Feline Nursing, while another nurse, Lex, has a post-graduate qualification in Dental Care. Our other vet, Emily, is qualified to authorise Pet Passports to take pets with you on holiday.”
Ruth has also revealed that the surgery offers flexible opening times to help customers and give them more options outside conventional working hours.
“We offer excellent quality of care at Vets4Pets and extended opening hours for the convenience of our clients. Consultations are available by appointment from 9am-7pm Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm on Saturdays and 10am-4pm on a Sunday. The needs of our clients and their pets are our top priority.”
As well as the services and caring nature of the surgery’s team, Ruth is keen to publicise the range of offers and savings that customers can take advantage of at Northwich’s newest veterinary surgery.
“We always have seasonal offers on, but our permanent offer is for Complete Care – our plan that offers 50% off the cost of annual vaccinations and prescription worm/flea/parasite treatment in cats and rabbits, and 40% off dog treatments, as seen on the TV.
“In addition, the plan provides perks such as free nails clips and Kennel Cough vaccination as well as some vet consultations. Come and see us, we’d love to meet you and see how we can help you!”
