Spring is here and with it the Easter holidays. And while all restrictions haven’t lifted just yet, there’s still lots going on in the Northwich area.
So we’ve compiled a cracking list of events just for you to ensure egg-citement for the kids this April.

Arley Hall Easter Garden Trail
This Easter Garden trail at beautiful Arley Hall is perfect for children of all ages. You’ll have to explore the garden and collect clues to find the ingredients for an Easter Carrot Cake.
The trail runs from Friday 2nd to Sunday 18th April and normal entry fees will apply.

Tatton Park Spring Adventure Trail
This delightful family trail takes place in Tatton’s spring gardens and is inspired by ‘The Secret Path’ by Tim Butterworth.
There’s lots to see and discover on the trail and it’s sure to provide bags of fun for everyone taking part. The gardens are open from 10am-6pm with last entry at 5pm.

Al Fresco in Northwich
From Monday 12th April, many of Northwich’s cafes and restaurants will be offering an al fresco dining service.
Why not pop in and treat the kids to a tasty lunch or slice of cake in the fresh air?

Treats in the park
Vickersway Park’s shop will be open daily throughout the Easter holidays from Good Friday (April 2nd).
Treats such as takeaway ice creams and toasties are available as well as drinks. Amenities such as crazy golf and table tennis will be available from 2nd April too and there’s also plenty of space to have a pleasant walk or a sit down to watch the world go by.
The park is open 8:00am-5:30pm Monday-Friday and 9:00am-5:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Visit Northwich Town Council’s Facebook page for more info and the latest updates.
Fun in the forest
Situated just a short drive from Northwich, Delamere Forest is a great place for Easter fun.
Walk, cycle, enjoy a picnic or maybe even go and see the Gruffalo! Some restrictions may still be in place for visitors so check the official website before planning your trip.
Enjoy an ice cream
A short drive from the centre of Northwich, Great Budworth Ice Cream Farm is currently open for weekend takeaways.
As well as delicious ice cream, visitors can also enjoy coffees or a tasty traybake. Opening times may change so keep checking their Facebook page for updates.
Superhero & Princess trail at Blakemere Village
A spell has been cast leaving everyone’s favourite Superheroes and Princesses frozen in time.
Now trainee Superheroes and Princesses are required in the fantasy forest to get the main team back together!
There’s also a fantastic competition running as part of the trail where children could win their favourite character from the trail. Follow the link below for all the information you need. The trail begins on Monday 12th April and will run throughout spring and summer.
