Have you ever wondered what a night out in Northwich looks like?

Northwich has a lot to offer, especially as the sun sets and the nightlife takes over. Whether you’re a foodie, a beer enthusiast or simply looking for a friendly, vibrant atmosphere, you’ll find it all in Northwich. The other week we got to spend a Friday night in town to see for ourselves.

Our evening in Northwich began at The Quayside, a cosy, welcoming pub at the top of Witton Street. Perfect for a chilled-out gathering, it’s the ideal place to start your night with a pint and a game of pool.

Next, we headed to Northwich Tandoori Restaurant, a stone’s throw from The Quayside. This isn’t your usual curry house, though. Owner Zahid and his team are passionate about creating delicious dishes with special menus for vegans and those who are dairy-free or gluten-free. Zahid aims to make dining an inclusive experience, ensuring everyone can savour their dishes. We enjoyed a 3-course meal of Poppadoms and dips, Meat Samosa and Chicken Pakora, Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan and Rice. We can’t recommend them highly enough!

After indulging in some fantastic food, we needed a walk to digest it all. This led us to The Salthouse NW, a trendy bar nestled between Waitrose and the Bombay Quay. With an ever-growing collection of gins, as well as craft beers and fine wines, it’s the place to go for a catch-up with friends. The lovely staff are ready to serve you with a smile and their motto “Northwich isn’t s**t”.

Our night ended on a high note at The Salty Dog. It’s not just a bar, it’s a hub for live music lovers! With a dynamic lineup of talented artists performing and an eclectic range of drinks to choose from, it’s a lively place ensuring a great time for everyone.
