If there’s one event you want you don’t want to miss this summer, it’s Northwich’s Pina Colada Festival on Saturday 16th August—because not only is it back, it’s set to be bigger, brighter and bolder than ever before!
Now in its fifth year, this free, family-friendly festival transforms the town centre into a tropical paradise of colour, rhythm, and salsa beats. Whether you’re sipping a Pina Colada cocktail (or mocktail), dancing in the street, or watching the kids try their hand at surfing, there’s something for everyone.

What to expect this year
This year’s festival promises the biggest celebration to date. Expect a full day of live music, street food, samba parades, kids’ activities and of course, Pina Coladas as far as the eye can see.
There’ll be:
- A giant urban beach at the top of Witton Street
- Surf simulator and free photo booth
- A massive samba parade with 100 dazzling dancers
- Confetti cannons, a catwalk stage and LED screens at Apple Market Place
- Pineapple-themed mini golf, face painting, and free kids’ crafts
Meanwhile, local bars, cafés and restaurants will be serving up special festival menus and drinks – giving you the perfect excuse to eat, drink and soak up the vibrant atmosphere.

A Caribbean carnival in the heart of Cheshire
The Pina Colada Festival isn’t just a celebration—it’s a moment where the whole town comes together. Whether you’re cheering on the parade, snapping beach selfies or just enjoying a cold drink with friends, the festival offers summer fun with a Northwich twist, right on your doorstep.
Don’t miss it – get your sunglasses, your most colourful shirt, and your salsa moves ready!
