Two Northwich businesses have agreed to help each other out in a neighbourly agreement as more visitors return to the town.
Spatial Sound & Vision and the Care UK Charity, which are located on either side of Chester Way heading towards the junction with London Road, have struck a partnership which will benefit both parties going forward.
Northwich’s Care UK Charity have agreed to let Spatial Sound & Vision customers park in their car park which is open from 10am-4pm, while in return Spatial will donate spare electrical goods to the charity on an ongoing basis to give them extra stock.
It is a move that’s been praised by Northwich BID Manager Jane Hough who isn’t surprised to see businesses working together in this way.
“It was great to hear from Gary Woodward, the new store manager of Spatial Sound & Vision, about the arrangement that the store has come to with the Care UK Charity and hopefully both businesses will benefit greatly from this partnership going forward.
“Spatial Sound & Vision customers will now have much more time and space to park while Care UK will receive much-needed electrical items that they will be able to distribute or re-purpose.
“This news provides further evidence that our businesses are community-orientated and clearly willing to go the extra mile to help each other out. It is that kind of mind-set that will help Northwich recover from the impact of COVID-19 over the months ahead.”
Spatial’s Gary Woodward has thanked Care UK for helping his store out and is now looking forward to welcoming customers through the doors over the summer.
“I’d just like to say a massive thank you to Care UK for agreeing to let us use their car park. It will be much easier for our customers to park there and safer too.
“It has been a difficult few weeks but thankfully we are back open now from 9:00am-5:30pm Monday to Saturday and we can also make appointments from 3pm-5pm if customers feel more comfortable with this. We are in the process of introducing new social media pages too but we will be revealing more about these in the coming weeks.”
