Two businesses within Northwich have come out on top in a public vote after entering a competition as part of Northwich in Bloom.

A range of the town’s retailers entered the Northwich ‘Best Dressed Business’ competition which had two different categories for pubs and shops, with entrants adorning their shop fronts, gardens and window displays with creative designs.

Hundreds had their say on the Visit Northwich Facebook page as visitors to the town voted for the display they thought was best over a two week period.

Each business was commended by competition organisers Northwich Business Improvement District (BID) but ultimately there could only be one winner in each category.

And it was Bella Boutique who triumphed in the shops section with CRS Consultants in second and Crafty Stitches in third. In the other half of the competition Stateside Bar & Kitchen and Barons Lounge were beaten into second and third respectively by The Salty Dog.

The top three will now receive a trophy for their efforts while Bella Boutique and The Salty Dog will also be given a bottle of champagne to mark their success.

Northwich BID Manager Jane Hough has thanked all of the businesses and pubs that took part and has commented on the quality of the different displays.

“I’d like to say well done to both Bella Boutique and The Salty Dog for coming out on top but credit must also go to each and every business that entered the competition.

“Their designs and creations were superb and it’s brilliant to see our retailers embracing another community event of this nature and really getting stuck in.”
