To celebrate Veganuary we took a trip to all of the fantastic retailers in and around Northwich who are actively providing us with vegan food choices, beauty products and clothes.
Veganuary is a campaign that encourages people to try a vegan lifestyle for the month of January. This campaign aims to raise awareness about the benefits of a plant-based diet along with the impact of animal agriculture on the environment.

Why do people do Veganuary?

People enjoy trying something new or giving themselves a personal challenge. Partaking in Veganuary can kickstart a healthier lifestyle and give you time to reflect on the products you’re using and the impact it has on the environment.

What businesses in Northwich provide Vegan food?

Abda Coffee – Cake and Culture take allergies, intolerances and special dietary requirements very seriously. They aim to be as inclusive as possible and therefore provide Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten-free meals and cakes.

Choose from a range of delicious dishes such as Sudanese Horiatiki (homemade houmous, sun dried tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, mixed olives, feta/vegan cheese, pallet, coriander and olive oil) or Buddha Bowl an Abda Classic (Moroccan couscous, tomatoes, dame, pickled red cabbage, chickpeas, homemade falafel, get/vegan cheese, zabadi and sumac.

We recently went to visit and tried their Vegan Sticky Rhubarb, Carrot, Orange and Ginger cake and their Biscoff Choc Cupcakes.

K2H has some new delicious dishes on its menu.
These dishes have been created especially for the K2H Northwich branch.
Including Vegan meals such as Jackfruit kofta, which is Jackfruit dumpling in rich tomato sauce, sautéed spinach and Kalonji Baijgan, which is baby aubergine tempered with black caraway seeds, cooked with chopped onion and tomatoes, bird eye chilli, ginger and garlic.

Wildwood also has a new lunch menu, allowing you to have two courses for £11.95.

Why not try the Baked Mushrooms filled with breadcrumbs, vegan cheese and nut pesto and then enjoy the Vegan Lasagne, tomato, sponge, layered pasta, coconut béchamel and vegan cheese?

All of these dishes sound delicious! We know many of the other restaurants and cafes in town also serve Vegan dishes.
