Now in its NINTH year, Northwich River Festival has cemented its status as one of our town’s most popular family events!
It’s just once a year that one of Northwich’s most beautiful assets is descended upon for a free-to-attend, fun-filled day, with Dragon Boat Racing, Family Activities, food, drink, a funfair and much more. Set on the River Weaver, you can enjoy watching our teams race throughout the day in heats, before the grand final. Could it be your team that will take the crown in 2026?
As well as the Dragon Boat Racing, and The FAMOUS Duck Race, Radio Northwich will be providing music from the green next to Wildwood.
Race the Dragon will be providing commentary on each race from the Riverside.
There will be many stalls – both retail and charity/non-profit – offering a range of goods and family activities – PLUS a funfair of kiddies rides.
A variety of hot and cold food and drinks vendors will be there for you to help you keep your energy levels up for a fun-packed day.
The Rotary in Northwich gazebo is the Event HQ, where any lost property should be taken, and lost children reported / collected.
